Voucher and settlement review
Accepted something already? You may still have a claim.
A meal voucher, hotel, rebooking, ticket refund, travel credit or goodwill payment does not always settle a separate flight compensation entitlement. Tell us what happened and exactly what you accepted.
Do not assume the case is over.Different remedies cover different losses. Eligibility still depends on the route, disruption, notice, cause and any settlement wording you accepted.

Acceptance often does not end everything
- Food, drink and accommodation are care rights, not usually substitutes for fixed compensation.
- A replacement flight gets you to the destination; compensation addresses qualifying disruption.
- A ticket refund may be chosen instead of rerouting while a separate compensation question remains.
When acceptance may matter
- Signed voucher agreement: compensation can be paid by voucher where the passenger agrees.
- Full and final wording: the precise terms and consent process need review.
- Voluntary denied boarding: a volunteer may have agreed benefits instead of involuntary denied-boarding compensation.
What we check
We separate the original ticket price, rerouting, care expenses, goodwill and fixed compensation. We then check whether UK261 or EU261 covers the journey, the arrival delay or cancellation notice, the airline's stated cause, what was offered, and whether the passenger clearly agreed to settle the same entitlement now being claimed.
